Sami Hamdan is an experienced data scientist and engineer with a robust background in software development and machine learning. Sami completed a software developer internship at ActLight SA in June 2016, contributing to a neural network training system for signal processing. From October 2019 to October 2022, Sami worked as a data scientist at Thomson Reuters, followed by a role at Delivery Hero from October 2022 to October 2024, focusing on time estimation in logistics. Prior to these positions, Sami served as a machine learning research intern at Sonova Group and is currently a Senior R&D Engineer at CSEM since October 2024. Sami holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, along with various educational experiences in language and political science.
