Sylvain Nicolay is a seasoned professional in the field of optoelectronics and nanotechnology, currently serving as Group Leader at CSEM since October 2025, overseeing quantum photonic and nanotechnology groups. Previously, Nicolay held the position of R&D Manager at ROLEX from February 2024 to September 2025 and was an Associate Professor at Université de Sherbrooke from September 2021 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading the 3IT Energy platform and managing research initiatives in renewable energies.
