Vaclav Pejchal

Vaclav Pejchal is currently the Additive Manufacturing Focus Area Manager and Material & Technology Expert at CSEM, where they specialize in materials engineering and project management. They have extensive research experience, having served as a Research and Teaching Assistant at EPFL and held roles as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and an International Research Fellow at ESA/ESTEC. Vaclav holds a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, along with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physical Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague. Their expertise includes materials characterization, failure analysis, and the design and development of testing methodologies across various material types.
