Johan Postema

Johan Postema has extensive experience in both education and architecture, beginning a professional journey as a draftsman and progressing to architect at Oving architekten bv from 1985 to 2008, followed by a position at WALarchitectenbureau until 2012. Johan transitioned into education as a docent at IMC Weekendschool and later at Praedinius Gymnasium, focusing on guiding and assessing students in technical subjects from 2006 to 2016. As an Educatie coördinator, Johan contributed to the development of digital lessons connected to the World Press Photo exhibition and maintained relationships with schools in northern provinces. Currently, Johan serves as a Technator and docent at CSG Liudger, combining educational responsibilities with roles in architecture as the owner and architect at JPOarchitect since 2012. Johan holds degrees in architecture and graphic design from reputable institutions, including Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten Minerva Groningen.
