Simon Paterson

Simon Paterson's work experience includes positions as Chief Information Security Officer and Security Practice Leader at CSI Ltd (A CSI Group Company) starting in 2019 and 2018 respectively. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Information Security Manager at niu Solutions from 2013 to 2018. Before that, they served as a CLAS Consultant at Ancient Lights Consulting from 2011 to 2013. Their earliest known position was as the Group Information Security Officer at RM Education from 1993 to 2011.

Simon Paterson has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with Honors in Information Technology from De Montfort University. Simon also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Computer Interaction from the same university. In addition to their degrees, Simon has obtained several certifications including Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², Chartered Engineer (CEng) from the Engineering Council, and Chartered IT Professional (CITP) from the British Computer Society. Simon is also a PCI SSC DSS Internal Security Assessor (ISA) certified by the PCI Security Standards Council.
