John Eibner

International President at CSI-Schweiz

Dr. John Eibner is the CEO of both Christian Solidarity International – Switzerland and CSI-USA, and Director of CSI’s Middle East Program. For over 25 years, he has directed field-based research and human rights advocacy campaigns on behalf of endangered religious communities in Sudan, the Caucasus and the broader Middle East. Dr. Eibner has served as CSI’s main representative at the United Nations in Geneva, and has appeared before the US House of Representatives, Sub-Committee on Africa, the Congressional Human Rights Caucus, and the UN Commission on Human Rights. He has briefed policymakers at the White House, State Department, and Foreign Office. From 1986 to 1990, Eibner was on the research staff of Keston College, a UK-based research institute for the study of religion in Marxist-Leninist countries.
