Diego Intrigliolo is a CSIC Research Professor and director of the Desertification Research Center (CIDE-CSIC-UV-GV), where they focus on research and innovation related to water and crops. They have served as a senior scientist at the Spanish Council for Scientific Research from 2021 to 2025, previously held a tenured scientist role, and worked as a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the Instituto Valenciano de Investigaciones Agrarias from 2011 to 2021. Diego earned their degree as an Agricultural Engineer from the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia between 1995 and 2001.
