Luis R.

Dr. Luis R. is a Tenured Researcher and Vice Director at the Instituto de Ciencia y Tecnología de Polímeros - Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC). Currently, they serve as Co-Principal Investigator of the Biomaterials Group at the Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red de Bioingeniería, Biomateriales y Nanomedicina (CIBER-BBN). Specializing in polymeric materials and biomaterials science, Dr. R.'s research centers on developing functional materials with antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and tissue-regenerative properties. Their esteemed career includes recognition as a Board member of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry and the Spanish Society for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. They hold a PhD in Chemistry from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
