Manuel Ramírez Chicharro, born in Puertollano in 1988, earned a degree in History from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha and advanced degrees in Secondary Teacher Education and Humanities Research. They completed their PhD in History at the same university, focusing on women's roles in Cuba's democratic transition, while their research led to academic stays at various prestigious institutions, including Harvard University and the University of London. Currently, Manuel is a Tenure Scientist at CSIC and actively participates in several academic networks related to Caribbean studies.
