Pablo Chacón is a biochemist and computational biologist currently serving as the Group Leader at the Institute of Physical Chemistry Blas Cabrera (IQFR-CSIC) in Madrid, Spain. Between 2011 and 2023, they led a structural bioinformatics research group focused on innovative techniques for the analysis and modeling of biological macromolecules and their interactions. Pablo's prior experience includes a Group Leader position at the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas (CIB-CSIC) from 2005 to 2010 and a Research Associate role at The Scripps Research Institute from 2000 to 2003. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Ciencias Quimicas (UCM) and a PhD in Chemistry from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
