Pablo Hernansanz Agustín

Ramón y Cajal Principal Investigator

Pablo Hernansanz Agustín is a Principal Investigator with a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, and Biotechnology. They conducted laboratory training at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2007 and researched cardiovascular diseases and atherosclerosis at the University of Hertfordshire from 2009 to 2010. They further advanced their studies as a PhD student at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2012 to 2017, followed by a postdoctoral position at CNIC from 2018 to 2022. Currently, Pablo leads research at CSIC as a Ramón y Cajal Principal Investigator, focusing on mitochondrial regulation and its implications for neurological disorders.
