Pablo Vera currently serves as the Director of the Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Plantas (IBMCP) since August 2018, while also holding the position of Profesor de Investigación at CSIC since April 2007. Previously, from 1992 to 2007, Pablo Vera was a Catedrático and Profesor titular in Bioquímica y Biología Molecular at UPV. Between 1990 and 1992, Pablo Vera gained experience as a Research Associate at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, USA. Pablo Vera earned a doctorate in Ciencias Biológicas from the University of Valencia.
