Alvin Lam

Alvin Lam is an Intellectual Property Manager specializing in digital technologies at CSIRO, where they have been part of the team since 2023. They earned a BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh in 2001. Previously, they worked as a Partner, Consultant, and Associate at Maucher Jenkins from 2014 to 2021, and served as a Trainee Patent Attorney at Beresford & Co from 2001 to 2006. With over 20 years of experience as a European and UK patent attorney in London, Alvin has extensive expertise in computer-implemented inventions. Outside of their professional life, they enjoy ice hockey, snowboarding, and family activities with their two children.
