Alvin Li is a CSIRO Early Research Career (CERC) Fellow in Canberra, specializing in polymer chemistry with a focus on polymeric therapeutics, nanomedicine, biocatalysis, and biofunctional materials. Previously, Alvin completed a PhD at UNSW where they developed a high-throughput synthesis platform for multivalent polymer-peptide therapeutics, contributing to advancements in cancer treatment. They also served as a postdoctoral researcher, working on mechanochemical hydrogels to enhance biomaterial modeling for tissue engineering. Currently, Alvin leads research on biomimetic catalysts for ammonia production and nanoparticle delivery systems for agricultural applications.
