Amy Edwards

Amy Edwards is a Communication Manager for Environment Research at CSIRO, where they have been working since 2025. Previously, they served as a Media and Communication Officer at Cessnock City Council for a brief period in 2015, and worked as a journalist for both the Newcastle Herald from 2002 to 2015 and the Western Advocate newspaper in 2001-2002. Earlier in their career, Amy held the position of Editor at the Narromine News from 2000 to 2001. Amy is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at the University of Newcastle.
