Dr. Cameron Fletcher is the Research Director of the Living Landscapes Program at CSIRO Environment, where they lead a team of 125 multi-disciplinary environmental scientists to promote sustainable practices in Australia. They focus on understanding human-environment interactions and developing science solutions to tackle complex environmental challenges, including the management of the Crown-Of-Thorns Starfish on the Great Barrier Reef. Their impactful work has earned recognition, including a finalist position for the Eureka Prize for Applied Environmental Research in 2022 and the National Banksia Award for Sustainability in 2023. Dr. Fletcher holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics from The University of Western Australia and a Ph.D. from The Australian National University.
