Cedric Simon is a Research Group Leader in Nutrition & Production Systems at CSIRO, where they focus on enhancing production efficiency and sustainability in aquaculture. Their research interests encompass the digestive physiology and nutritional needs of crustaceans, fish, and mollusks, as well as the development of sustainable aquafeed ingredients. Cedric previously held roles including Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Senior Technical Officer at the University of Tasmania, where they conducted significant research on larval lobster nutrition. Cedric earned a BSc in Aquaculture from James Cook University and a PhD in Marine Science from the University of Auckland.
