Chris Pavey is a principal research scientist at CSIRO Environment, based in Darwin, Northern Territory. With extensive experience in wildlife ecology, Chris has focused on field-based research aimed at developing management and policy measures to support threatened species amid environmental change. Previously, Chris held roles including Senior Research Scientist and Research Group Leader within CSIRO, and served as Regional Manager for Biodiversity for the Northern Territory Government. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science and First Class Honours in Zoology, as well as a PhD in Ecology, all from The University of Queensland.
