Christopher Fell

Christopher Fell is a Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO and a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of Newcastle. They earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Physics with Honours from the University of Technology Sydney and a PhD in Surface Science, Physics, and Ion-beam Technology from the University of Newcastle. With 33 years of experience in research, industry, and academia, they founded CSIRO's photovoltaics research program, which operates as the PV Performance Laboratory. Christopher has served as Australia's representative on the IEC international standards committee for photovoltaic modules and was the former Chair of the Australian Photovoltaics Institute.
