Christopher Preston

Christopher Preston is the Director of Infrastructure Technologies at CSIRO. They completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry at The University of Queensland, and also earned a Graduate Diploma in Building Fire Safety and Risk Engineering from Victoria University. Previously, Christopher held various roles at CSIRO, including Group Leader and Manager of Fire Systems, and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at RMIT University, focusing on materials science and fire retardant materials. Their extensive experience in research and development has contributed to innovations in fire safety engineering and materials technology.
