Dan Metcalfe

Dan Metcalfe has extensive experience in research and management within ecological and environmental sciences. Positions include Research Student Division Leader at the University of Brighton, Senior Lecturer in Ecology, and various leadership roles at CSIRO, including Deputy Director of CSIRO Land and Water and Director at CSIRO Oceans & Atmosphere. Dan's research focuses on sustainable management of land and water resources, tropical and temperate ecology, and the ecological aspects of sustainability. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Plant Ecology from the University of Cambridge and a Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, along with various other academic certifications.
