Garry Einicke is a Senior Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO, where tenure began in January 1997, leading teams in research and development of communications, tracking, automation, and logistics solutions particularly for the mining and transport sectors. Garry has held several leadership roles within IEEE, including Chair of Aerospace & Electronic Systems, Chair of IEEE Queensland, and Chair of Signal Processing & Communications. An adjunct professor at Griffith University, Garry has authored over 100 research publications. Prior to CSIRO, Garry was a Senior Research Scientist at DSTO from January 1980 to December 1996, where responsibilities included leading projects in radio direction finding, communications systems design, and signal analysis. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering, and a PhD, all in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
