Gary Burge

Gary Burge has extensive experience in finance and accounting, beginning with a role as Senior Accountant at KPMG from February 1988 to February 1992, focusing on audit and computer audit functions. Following this, Gary held various senior finance positions at CSIRO from October 2012 to August 2024, including Executive Finance Manager and Senior Finance Manager, where responsibilities encompassed corporate functions and multiple divisions such as Minerals and Petroleum Resources. Additionally, Gary served as Executive Manager of Internal Audit at David K Baumgartner & Co from March 1992 to February 1998, and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Data Processing from the University of Ballarat, obtained between 1985 and 1987.
