Geoff Brooks

Geoff Brooks is a Joint Swinburne/CSIRO Professor in Sustainable Mineral Processing with extensive expertise in various areas including Alternate Ironmaking, Steelmaking fundamentals, and E-waste treatment. They have held academic positions such as Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong and Professor at Swinburne University of Technology, where they also served as Pro-Vice Chancellor for Future Manufacturing. Geoff has contributed to the field of Dark Matter research in collaboration with the Dark Matter Centre and has been recognized as a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining. Their educational background includes degrees from RMIT University and the University of Melbourne, culminating in a PhD in Chemical Engineering.
