Gregory Lehman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Indigenous advisory roles and cultural leadership. Currently serving as a member of the CSIRO Indigenous Advisory Group since January 2024 and a member of the National Reference Group for the National Aboriginal Art Gallery, Gregory has been influential in guiding policies and strategies related to Aboriginal culture and engagement. As a board member of the Tasmanian Land Conservancy and owner of GroundWork - creative communications, Gregory has a robust background in brand management and heritage interpretation. Additional roles include Indigenous Advisor and Curator at the Museum of Old and New Art and Pro Vice-Chancellor for Aboriginal Leadership at the University of Tasmania, where strategic direction for Aboriginal student success is emphasized. Previous experience also includes research and teaching positions at the University of Melbourne and Deakin University, as well as consulting roles focused on Indigenous art and culture. Gregory holds a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Tasmania and has received accolades for contributions to interpreting and representing Indigenous narratives.
