Jay Pillai

Jay Pillai is an accomplished engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in various roles. Jay served as a Product Engineer at Invetech from November 2020 to May 2022, following a period as a Project Assistant at Deakin University from December 2015 to May 2017, and a Research & Development Engineering Intern at Air Radiators Pty Ltd. Additional roles included Project Engineer and Graduate Product Engineer at the same company, along with a position as Copper Technician at Connecting Australia Wide (CAW) Pty Ltd. Currently, Jay works as a Project Engineer - Process at Seqirus since May 2022 and has been the Regulated Operations Team Lead and Senior Engineer at CSIRO since April 2025. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering (Professional) in Mechanical Engineering Design from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University.
