Kun Yang

Kun Yang is a highly experienced materials scientist with extensive expertise in additive manufacturing, metal alloys, and engineering project leadership. Kun Yang served as Project Leader at The University of Queensland, supervising a project focused on low-cost water purification device design. A part-time materials consultant at UniQuest involved work on Mg-Ni based ternary alloy systems. At CSIRO, Kun Yang held various positions including Team Leader and Senior Research Scientist, leading projects on metal 3D printing, alloy design, and smart material development. Previous experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Monash University focused on optimizing processing parameters and heat treatment for various metal alloys.
