Lucy Carter

Lucy Carter is a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO, where they focus on understanding and addressing complex, socially-relevant issues such as food and nutrition security, responsible science innovation, and social inclusion. Lucy combines their expertise in health, agriculture, biotechnology, and applied ethics to enhance interdisciplinary science efforts in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. Previously, they held roles as a Researcher at Griffith University, a Research Monitoring Officer at Princess Alexandra Hospital, and a Research Ethics and Social Responsibility Manager at CSIRO. Lucy earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Ethics and Biotechnology from The University of Queensland and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Public Health from Curtin University.
