Manish Patel

Manish Patel is an experienced researcher and educator with a focus on remote sensing, precision agriculture, and machine learning. Manish served as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne, contributing to the Copernicus Applications And Services For Low Impact Agriculture In Australia project. As a Manager at the Melbourne Unmanned Aircraft System Integration Platform, Manish planned and executed data collection projects utilizing various remote sensing technologies. Currently, Manish holds a position as a Research Scientist and Early Career Researcher Postdoctoral Fellow at CSIRO, where the primary project involves developing computer vision solutions for disease detection in cotton and canola. Manish is pursuing a Joint PhD Research Scholar degree at the University of Sydney in collaboration with the University of Melbourne.
