Martin Brown

Martin Brown is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Cyber Assurance Lead at CSIRO since July 2023. Previously held the role of Cyber Risk Analyst at TasNetworks from March 2020 to July 2023, focusing on cybersecurity risk analysis and assessment to ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. Prior to that, Martin worked at Greater Bank as both IT Security Manager and Senior Information Security Officer, and at CSC in various roles including Compliance Assurance Manager and Security Engineer, accumulating over a decade of experience in multiple security-related positions. Martin also began a career as a Software Engineer at Edward Pryor & Son Ltd. Martin holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
