Michael Lawley

Dr. Michael Lawley is a Principal Research Scientist and Research Group Leader at the Australian eHealth Research Centre, where they focus on e-Health Metadata and Ontologies, particularly SNOMED CT. Previously, Dr. Lawley served as a Senior Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology and as a Senior Project Leader at DSTC Pty Ltd, contributing to model-driven development techniques and standards. They have also held academic roles, including Adjunct Professor at Griffith University, and actively participate in SNOMED International as the SNOMED on FHIR Co-Chair. Dr. Lawley holds a Ph.D. from Griffith University and a BSc (Hons) from The University of Melbourne.
