Ming Ding is a Group Leader at CSIRO’s Data61 and an Adjunct Professor at both Swinburne University and the University of Technology Sydney. With a Ph.D. in Signal and Information Processing from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, they have contributed significantly to the fields of AI, data privacy, and telecommunications through over 200 publications and more than 21 patents. Previously, Ming held research positions at Sharp Laboratories of China and NICTA, achieving accolades such as the IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award in 2022. Currently recognized as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher for 2024 and 2025, Ming continues to shape national AI initiatives and serves as an editor for notable IEEE journals.
