Ming Liu

Ming Liu is a seasoned mechanical engineer specializing in thermal energy storage, numerical and heat transfer modeling, and techno-economic analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO since 2023, Ming has previously held the position of Senior Research Engineer at Isothermix Pty Ltd from 2020 to 2023 and worked as a Research Analyst at Mondial Advisory Pty Ltd between 2022 and 2023. Ming's experience includes roles as a Research Associate and Research Fellow at the University of South Australia, and stints as a Visiting Researcher at both the German Aerospace Centre and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Holding a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Australia and a Master’s degree from the University of Adelaide, Ming began their academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Dalian University of Technology.
