Paul Graham is the Chief Economist of Energy at CSIRO, focusing on energy economics and the development of world-class energy modelling capabilities. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Officer at the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences from 1996 to 2000, where they analyzed major energy markets and developed economic models. Between 2000 and 2013, they held roles as Carbon Futures Theme Leader and Chief Economist Energy Flagship at CSIRO, championing innovative approaches to energy and transport sector modeling. Paul holds an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Newcastle, which they completed in 1995.
