Peng Guo

Peng Guo is a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO, specializing in theoretical and computational seismology with a focus on seismic wave propagation and subsurface physical property inference. Holding a Global Talent Visa, they engage in research involving wave simulation, full waveform inversion, and high-performance computing. Previously, Peng acquired valuable experience as a Research Intern at Total and as a Visiting Scientist at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris. They earned a Ph.D. in Geosciences from The University of Texas at Dallas and have held various positions that enhance their expertise in seismic data processing and imaging.
