Peter Durr

Peter Durr is a Senior Veterinary Epidemiologist at the Australian Animal Health Laboratory (CSIRO-AAHL), where they lead a Bioinformatics and Epidemiology team focused on developing a real-time molecular epidemiology system for managing exotic animal disease outbreaks. They have previously served as a Veterinary Epidemiologist at the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency, where they advanced GIS and spatial analysis in the field. Peter also held the position of Veterinary Officer at the State Veterinary Service, gaining valuable insights into the management of disease. Peter earned a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney and a Ph.D. in Agro-ecology from James Cook University.
