Peter Hunt is a Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO, focusing on livestock production system resilience and animal health management. With experience as an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the University of New England from 2012 to 2021, Peter supervised students and conducted collaborative research. Previously, Peter held postdoctoral fellow positions at both CSIRO and the University of Edinburgh, where they studied plant haemoglobins and their functions. Peter earned a PhD in Nematode Genetics and a Bachelor of Rural Science with First Class Honours from the University of New England.
