Rob Macpherson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience spanning energy, water, defense, and national research organizations. They held the position of Energy Management Lead at SA Water from 2011 to 2017, where they established energy and water trading management systems. They served as Program Manager at CSIRO, directing complex sustainability and radioactive waste remediation projects of national importance. Currently, they are the Propel Program Manager at the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering, leading initiatives to support undergraduate STEM students and strengthen Australia’s workforce. Rob holds a BEng (Hons) in Engineering and an MSc from the University of East London and the Centre for Alternative Technology.
