Sam Yang

Sam Yang is a Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO Manufacturing Flagship, specializing in data-rich and data-constrained modeling, statistical physics, computational physics, and applied complex systems. Prior to their current role, Sam held positions as a Lecturer at Shanxi University, a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, and a Scientist at Telstra Research Labs, focusing on various aspects of modeling in physics and engineering. Sam's early career also included a role as a Technical Consultant at BHP Research Melbourne Labs.
