Sandra Occhipinti

Sandra Occhipinti is an accomplished geoscientist with extensive experience in both academic and professional settings. Notable positions include serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Curtin University, a Senior Geologist at the Geological Survey of Western Australia, and a Research Associate Professor at The University of Western Australia. Currently, Sandra Occhipinti is the Research Director at CSIRO and has recently assumed the role of President of the Australian Geoscience Council. Additionally, a significant part of Sandra Occhipinti's career involved roles at Fugro Airborne Surveys and AngloGold Ashanti, where expertise in geology was further developed. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Geology from Monash University, as well as two PhDs from Curtin University.
