Dr. Sean Pascoe is a marine resource economist at CSIRO, with over 35 years of experience in the economic analysis of fisheries and the marine environment. They have produced over 300 research outputs, including more than 200 refereed journal articles. Before joining CSIRO in 2006, Dr. Pascoe served as a Professor of Natural Resource Economics at the University of Portsmouth, where they focused on the management of UK and European fisheries. Their current work involves capacity and efficiency analysis, maximum economic yield assessments, and the economics of marine biodiversity conservation. Dr. Pascoe is also an Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology, supervising PhD students in related fields, and has received multiple awards for research excellence throughout their career.
