Steve Swain is currently the Science Lead for Crops at CSIRO, where they focus on advancing plant biology and biotechnology for crop improvement. Previously, they served as Research Director and Deputy Director - Science in the Agriculture and Food Business Unit at CSIRO. Prior to these roles, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Minnesota and an STA Postdoctoral Fellow at RIKEN. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Plant Genetics from the University of Tasmania.
