Stuart Whitten

Stuart Whitten is the Research Director of the Sustainability Pathways Program at CSIRO Environment, where they focus on navigating sustainability transitions in collaboration with the Australian community. They have an extensive background in environmental and institutional economics, specializing in the design and implementation of environmental markets. Stuart's experience includes working with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and serving as an independent expert for the Great Barrier Reef 2050 plan. They hold an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Economics from the University of New South Wales.
