Tess Dance is the Decarbonisation Geoscience Group Leader and an experienced scientist with a rich background in the research industry. They hold a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Adelaide, where they researched reservoir characterisation for CO2 storage projects, and possess post-graduate qualifications in Geographic Information Science from the University of Melbourne. With over fifteen years of experience in basin analysis and geological storage of carbon dioxide, Tess is skilled in geological modelling and fieldwork. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO, they excel in technical leadership and have authored numerous publications in the field.
