Thomas Girke

Thomas Girke is an energetic information professional with extensive leadership and operational management experience. From 2014 to 2022, they served as Manager of Information Resources at CSIRO Library Services, overseeing significant scientific information collections and managing substantial resources and budgets. Previously, Thomas held various roles in library and information management, including positions at Monash University and the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. They obtained a Bachelor of Business in Library and Information Science with Distinction and a Master's in Business, Information Technology from RMIT University. Currently, Thomas is the Executive Manager of Knowledge Services at CSIRO, where they oversee enterprise services including Records and Information Management.
