Thomas Kohl

Thomas Kohl is a senior experimental scientist with extensive experience in organic chemistry and leadership within the CSIRO, where they have worked for over a decade. Currently leading the Continuous Flow Catalysis Team in Melbourne, Thomas focuses on developing catalytic process technology for chemical manufacturing and energy applications. They have successfully delivered practical solutions for producing chemicals and materials using flow chemistry techniques and have expertise in managing industry-funded projects. Thomas's research interests include carbon capture and utilization, hydrogenations, 3D printed reactors, and operations for the Hydrogen Economy. Previously, they also served as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Tasmania, where they supervised and trained chemistry students.
