Tom Munyard

Tom Munyard is the Chief Operating Officer at CSIRO, where they lead the Operations Group encompassing key research enabling functions such as Finance, Governance, and Information Management and Technology. Previously, they held the position of Director, Finance at the Clean Energy Regulator, where they established the finance function and served as the agency's acting Chief Financial Officer. Throughout their career, Tom has also worked in various roles within the Department of Human Services and the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, focusing on financial strategy, external budget processes, and corporate finance. Tom’s extensive experience in financial management and strategic leadership has contributed significantly to organizational effectiveness and sustainability.
