Yunqi Wang

Yunqi Wang is a researcher in Electrical Engineering and AI for Sustainable Energy, currently serving as a Research Fellow at RMIT University and a CERC Fellow at CSIRO since 2024. They previously worked as a Research Fellow at Monash University and a Research Associate at Tsinghua University, where they participated in sustainable energy projects with the UNCCD. Yunqi was also a Visiting Scholar at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, focusing on low-carbon energy transition initiatives. They earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney, where they developed expertise in energy systems planning and control.
