Abilashan Sithampari

Abilashan Sithampari is currently the Regional Regulatory Lead for Global Regulatory Affairs in the Intercontinental region at CSL, where they lead the development of regional strategies and ensure compliance for the cardiovascular and renal portfolio across multiple regions. Abilashan has held various positions at CSL, including Global Regulatory Affairs CMC Senior Manager and Associate Director for the Cardio-Renal and Iron Therapeutic Area, overseeing a team and major submissions in major ICH countries. They completed their Master of Science in molecular life science from the University of Bern in 2016, where they conducted a master thesis on Nrf2-dependent macrophage populations. Prior to their current role, Abilashan gained experience as a trainee in regulatory coordination and in administration.
