Calum Kinnear

Calum Kinnear is a highly skilled Principal Scientist at CSL, with a strong background in biomedical research, particularly in optical biosensors aimed at early disease detection. Prior to this role, Calum held various positions, including Senior Scientist and Research Scientist at CSL since March 2020, and Postdoctoral Fellow at CSIRO and The University of Melbourne between October 2018 and March 2020. Calum's academic foundation includes a PhD from the Adolphe Merkle Institute, focusing on novel nanoparticles for biomedical applications, and a master's degree in Chemical Physics from The University of Edinburgh. Experience also includes research involvement at the University of Edinburgh and a position as a Process Scientist at Procter & Gamble, contributing to multi-scale liquid processing studies.
